Lego Advent Calendar – Day #9

Hello, again! Thanks for stopping back to see what’s happening here on my blog! 🙂 It’s Day #9 of our Lego City advent calendar.

Crreeeeeeek! Did you hear the squeaky door opening? 😉

It looks like we need to put together a new friend!

He has a friendly smile, doesn’t he? 🙂 And he’s ready for a walk in the snow with those snowshoes.

Hmmm…is he drinking coffee or hot cocoa? How nice of him to share some with his friend!

That was fun! Stop back tomorrow! 🙂 See ya then!

Lego Advent Calendar – Day #8

And here we go with Day #8 of our Lego City Advent calendar!

Let’s open the door!

It looks like these are pieces for a scooter and a helmet to go with it.

Pop the wheels on and connect the handlebars and you’re all set!

One thing I noticed is that the characters have to stand to ride the scooter. They can’t sit on it. But it’s still pretty cute and I guess real people usually stand on scooters too. 😉 Haha!

Be sure to stop back tomorrow for some more Lego fun! 🙂

Lego Advent Calendar – Day #7

Sorry I’m so late getting the Lego advent calendar day #7 posted! It’s been one of those days today…I’m ready to go to bed! But anyway, let’s get this rolling!

Let’s see what is waiting behind this door…

Awww, it’s a kitten and a couple of supplies!

So there isn’t anything to put together today so we’ll just add this little cutie to our Christmas scene. 🙂

That’s all for today! 🙂 See you tomorrow!

Exciting News About Lego Minifigures!

Hey, there! Are you a big fan of Lego minifigures? If so, I have 2 bits of information you might like to hear! 🙂 First, there is a new series of minifigures coming! It’s series 27 and they will be available on the Lego website beginning January 1, 2025!

They look pretty cute! Can’t wait to see them! 🙂

Now for the second bit of news, the Dungeons and Dragons minifigures price has been reduced on the Lego website! Regularly $4.99, they are on sale for $3.99 each!

Grab them while they’re still available! If you need the website address, it’s just lego.com. I’m not being compensated for this post…just sharing the info to help you out. 🙂

Lego Advent Calendar – Day #6

Hello, hello, hello! Glad you’re back to see what’s behind Door #6 today of our Lego City Advent Calendar! 🙂

Here it comes…are you ready?

Here are the pieces we have to put together…

I do believe it’s a radio controlled toy boat! That would be fun, wouldn’t it?

Let me know if you think it’s something different. 🙂

See you tomorrow! 🙂

Lego Advent Calendar – Day #5

We’re back and ready for Day #5 of our Lego City advent Calendar! Here’s the door…

Let’s see what we have for today!

Yay! Another friend! 🙂

Putting the pieces together and we get this!

She is all set for some snow skiing! And our fella is happy to have someone to hang out with! I bet they are talking about how much snow there is. 😉

Don’t forget to hop back on here tomorrow for Door #6! 🙂

Lego Advent Calendar – Day #4

Aaannnd we are back for the next exciting door opening with our Lego City advent calendar! 😉 It’s Day #4!

Ready?

Whoa! It looks like a skateboard and a helmet!

Just pop the 2 sets of wheels on and you are ready to go!

Now our guy that we found on the first day can choose between a snowboard and a skateboard! I think he’s pretty happy about that. He looks happy, doesn’t he? 😉

That was pretty quick and easy! Check back again tomorrow for some more fun!

Lego Advent Calendar – Day #3

Hello again! Are you ready to peek behind the next door?

Here we go!

Awwww! 🙂 Here are the pieces for today.

There’s not much “putting together” to be done today, but isn’t this puppy adorable? He looks very much like our dog!

There’s a rug on the box background that our puppy looks quite comfortable on. 🙂 And he shouldn’t be hungry any time soon with 2 bones to eat.

That’s it for today! See you tomorrow! 🙂

A Great Way to Save Money Shopping Online

It’s that time of year when lots of folks are going crazy doing their Christmas shopping. Yes, me included! And we are all looking for ways to make things cheaper, right? There is a website (or app) that I have used when shopping online for several years now. I’ve earned over $1,000 cash back! Yes, really! You might have heard of it…it’s Rakuten. 🙂

It’s simple to use and it doesn’t take long to get an account set up. I’ll share my referral link to make it easy for you to find: http://www.rakuten.com/r/NITAFE?eeid=28187

To be totally up front with you, that is my referral link and if you sign up and make purchases through Rakuten, I will get a one time benefit. But you can then also refer your friends and family and get an extra benefit for yourself.

So how does it work? Click on my link and create an account. Each time you shop online, start at the Rakuten website. Find the store you want to shop at and if Rakuten has a cash back from that store you can see how much you can get in return. For example, it might be 2% back. But during the holiday season there is often a much larger percent back. For Cyber Monday today, some stores have up to 20% back! I made a purchase through Rakuten yesterday with WalMart and I got $16.55 back! Not bad, eh? Nope, this is not a get rich quick scheme! LOL But every little bit you save adds up and helps your pocketbook! 🙂

When you click on the store link through Rakuten, it will take to you that store and you shop as usual. After you’ve paid for your purchase, Rakuten automatically takes care of the rest. Rakuten sends out a check or deposits into your account, like Paypal, every 3 months.

That’s a super quick overview, but I hope you’ll check it out and save yourself some money! 🙂

Have a great day! 🙂

Lego Advent Calendar – Day #2

Welcome back to Lego advent calendar day #2!

Opening door #2…the suspense is building! Ta dah!

These Lego pieces are included in today’s cubbyhole.

So I got it put together but I’m not sure what to call it. Is it a drill maybe? My husband says maybe it’s a post hole digger or a machine used to break up concrete? Hmm… What do you think?

And now it’s added to our Christmas scene. 🙂

Very fun! See you tomorrow for door #3! 🙂
