Helloooo, again! 🙂 It is time for day #4 of our Lego Friends Advent calendar! I wonder what we will find today?
Do you want to guess what is behind door #4? Let’s see, I think we will find…yea, I have no idea what we will find. 😉 But that is what makes an advent calendar so fun!
Hmm…here’s what we have to work with today.
Ooo, I love the book! 🙂 Is that an end table with a drink? Let me know what you think it is.
Put them all together and this is a cozy little corner for enjoying your book.
WHOOHOO!! We have made it to December!! Every year I buy a Lego Advent calendar and then for every day in December leading up to Christmas, I open one door on the calendar and share what is hiding behind it. 🙂 I hope you will join me! This year I picked the Lego Friends Advent calendar.
There are several Lego Advent calendars to choose from including Disney Frozen, Harry Potter, Minecraft, City, Star Wars and Friends. Each calendar includes 24 surprise gifts. On the back of the box is an extra flap that lays down to give you some scenery to arrange your assembled gifts on. The Lego Friends calendar has a sleepover scene this year.
Ok, it’s Day #1!! Let’s get this party started! 🙂 We found the first door!
What is hiding behind door #1?
Here are the pieces included behind today’s door.
I don’t know the characters names but I think this young lady has her sleeping bag and pillow with her for the sleepover. 🙂
I found a place to put her in the scenery, at least for now.
That’s it for today! Be sure to come back tomorrow to peek behind door #2! 🙂

Hello, my fellow Lego fanatics! 🙂 Let’s talk about the new Lego Formula 1 car packs! Have you seen them? The boxes they come in are the same size as the Lego Minifigures and they also sell for $4.99 in the United States.
I’m not really into Formula 1 racing but I have heard about the new Formula 1 movie that is releasing this month. Whether you like Formula 1 racing or just playing or collecting cool cars, these packs could be fun for you or your kids. So in case you are interested, I bought a pack so I can show you what comes inside. 🙂 First thing is quite a few Lego pieces! I would say these have more pieces than the usual minifigure packs do.
Also included are instructions for putting the car together and on the back of the instructions you can see all 12 cars that are available.
While the instructions are not the easiest to see, I was able to figure it out fairly easily. A younger child might need some assistance. Here’s the car that was in my surprise box:
These are pictures copied from the Lego website to show you closer up the cars that are available and give you their names.
If you like Lego and racing cars, I’m guessing you will have fun collecting these. 🙂 They are available on the Lego website. I found the one I bought at a Barnes & Noble bookstore but I’m guessing they are available in other stores as well.
