New Dungeons & Dragons LEGO Minifigures Series!

Calling all Dungeons & Dragons and LEGO fans! There’s a new minifigures series available! I spotted this one at our local Barnes & Noble store! They are also available for purchase online through the LEGO website.

Let me confess right up front that I know very little about Dungeons and Dragons. But I do know some of our grandkids play and so these minifigures are very cool to me! haha! Here’s the whole gang that is available in this LEGO minifigures set: (Picture copied from the LEGO website)

Don’t they look pretty cool?! Here’s a little closer look at the characters offered. (Pictures copied from the LEGO website)

I bought one package today and here is what I found inside:

I believe this is a Gith Warlock. 🙂

You will also find a sheet with the pictures of each character that is available so you can check each one off as you collect it.

Looks like another fun minifigure series from LEGO! Have fun collecting! 🙂

Cute New Lego Set

Yep, here we go again with another post about Lego! LOL I can’t seem to help myself, but I found a cute inexpensive little Lego set for 2024 and I just have to share! 🙂 The name of the set is Lego Creator Gift Animals #30666. You can make 3 different animals from this set but I chose to make the dog. The instructions to make the dog are included in the package. Isn’t it so cute?!

Here’s what comes in the package:

And now you can see all the pieces sorted out and ready to be put together. (Yes, I sort my Lego into like pieces before I start building…just seems easier that way.) 😉

The directions might be a little tricky for a young child to do alone as it just shows more pieces added to the dog, not the exact pieces you will need for that step.

There’s the dog all put together! 🙂

It’s so cute I just have to share another view of the dog doing the “puppy bow”!

Oh, look! The puppy is so happy to see you it’s jumping up! LOL Can you tell that I’m having fun posing this dog?! Haha! 😉

If you want to make the other 2 animals, the instructions can be found online.

I found this set at a Barnes & Noble store and the price was $4.99. I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this little Lego set and maybe you can get one for your own or for your favorite Lego lover! 🙂

Amazing Lego Set That’s Educational too!

Hello, everyone! If you have followed my blog for any length of time, you have probably realized that I am a great fan of Lego! (I should maybe say fanatic!) I put a set together the other day and I absolutely loved it, so I just have to tell you about it! 🙂 The set I’m talking about is the Lego Tiny Plants set #10329.

What is so cool about this set? Ooo, I was hoping you’d ask! 😉 You can make 9 tiny plants out of this set, but it’s much more than that. This set TEACHES you about the plants in a fun way that your kids won’t notice that they are learning while building Lego! For example, the plants you make are fashioned after real plants. Let’s look at the first building booklet that’s included:

This set of 3 plants are found in tropical rainforests. Lego has included a few interesting facts about rain forests.

Then you’ll see pictures of what the real plants look like with their botanical names and their every day names. They have included just enough facts to be interesting, but not boring or overwhelming. It adds to the fun of building each Lego plant when the kids will be able to tell others what the plant’s name is.

For instance, let’s look at the first plant you’ll build, the False Shamrock or Oxalis Triangularis. Some kids will love being able to spout off the “fancy” botanical name. 😉

Building each plant is also fun! Look at these cute little pots the plants go in! Yep, you put the pot together too.

Here’s your False Shamrock! Isn’t that pretty?

Wait, did you notice something familiar about the purple flowers on the False Shamrock?? Here’s a closer look at those pieces…what do you see?

Yes, those are butterflies!! 🙂 Good eye! Some of the pieces Lego selected to use for these plants are pieces that have been used in other previous sets. 🙂 Look at what the booklet says about these butterflies…

It adds to the fun of building the tiny plants when you are on the lookout for other pieces that you will recognize as having been also used in other sets! I won’t spoil the fun by telling you about the others, but keep your eyes open as you are building! 😉 The 3 plants made from the tropical rain forest plants look like this…

They are quite realistic, aren’t they? Another fun thing you could add to building these tiny plants is a visit to your local greenhouse and see if you can purchase any of these as a live plant to grow in your home. While I doubt you can find all of them, you might find a Jade plant or a Venus Fly Trap plant. (Venus Fly Trap plants are very cool, by the way!)

This has to be one of the most fun Lego sets I’ve built and I can see where it could be a wonderful project to work through with your kids. 🙂 Oh, you can build the tiny plants in any order that you like. They do not build on each other, but are separate.

I hope you’ll try building this set! What a great rainy day project! Or if it’s as hot where you live as it is here, its a great staying-inside-where-its-cool project. 😉 Have fun!

But for today, let’s talk about LEGO! (Yes, one of my favorite subjects!) Have you see the latest Lego Minifigures series 26? It’s all about space figures and some of them are kinda funky! New Lego Minifigures Series 25

Have you seen the latest Lego Minifigures series 25? They were officially released on January 1, 2024. These are so fun! 🙂

Each box has a paper with the picture of each minifigure, like in the photo below. These are the minifigures that are available in this series…Film Noir Detective, E-Sports Gamer, Vampire Knight, Sprinter, Goatherd, Mushroom Sprite, Fitness Instructor, Triceratops Costume Fan, Harpy, Train Kid, Fierce Barbarian and Pet Groomer.

This is what it looks like when you open the box.

I bought 4 boxes and I just had to share with you which ones I got! The first one is an E-Sports Gamer.

The second box was another E-Sports Gamer. Ha! Here are the pieces in the third box I bought.

And they make the Film Noir Detective. Notice he comes with a red herring! 😉

Box #4 had these pieces inside.

Which turn into the Pet Groomer. How cute! Love the dog! 🙂

It makes it fun not knowing which minifigure will be hiding inside the box you choose. 🙂 So here’s to my start of trying to find all 12 Lego Minifigures from series 25! (I think the Pet Groomer is my favorite so far!) :)

The New Lego Minifigures Have Arrived in Stores!

Back near the end of April, I shared with you that Lego would be releasing another series of minifigures called Disney 100. They can now be found in stores near us and I’m guessing in stores near you too!

I like to collect minifigures, so I’ve already gotten a few to add to my collection. I found these at a Barnes & Noble bookstore. In case you’ve never bought a minifigure pack before, they come in separate pieces and you build the character.

Just for fun, I’ll share the ones I’ve gotten so far:

The Queen…

Cruella de Vil and a Dalmatian puppy…

From the movie Coco…I haven’t seen this movie, but I’m guessing this is Ernesto de la Cruz?

Mickey Mouse…

And Robin Hood.

If you are a Lego fan, I hope you can find some of these close to you! They are also available from some stores by shopping online. Enjoy! 🙂

New Lego Minifigures!

Have you seen the new Lego Minifigures that just released on January 1, 2023? This is Series 24 and there are 12 different minifigures that come in surprise packages. You can’t see which one you are getting until you open the package. But that’s half the fun, right? 🙂

Inside the package, along with your minifigure, is this paper showing all the minifigures that are available.

Here’s what I saw when I opened my first pack:

Put him together and you have a cool guy with a koala bear!

I also had a second pack and this is what was inside it:

This guy obviously loves carrots and can be made 2 ways. The first way he has orange hair.

Or he can be a carrot mascot in a carrot costume. 😉

So I now have a start of a new Lego collection! (These little things are addictive!) I bought these online through Barnes & Noble but they are now available in other stores too. Have fun collecting! I’d love to see which ones you get in your surprise package! 🙂

Day #24 – Lego Advent Calendar

We have reached the final day of our Lego Friends advent calendar! The time sure seemed to go by so quickly!

Let’s look behind the last door!

Here are the pieces. I bet you can figure this one out by yourself!

It’s an adorable snowman! I think I would like to keep him out where I can see him all winter!

For now I’ll put him in our Christmas scene. 🙂

Well, that wraps up our Lego Friends advent calendar! There are quite a few extras pieces included with this set. Now to see what else we can use them for, right? 😉

Thanks for following along with me! I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have! 🙂 And now it’s Christmas Eve! 🙂
