My sincere apologies for my long absence from this blog. My father-in-law was very ill this year and in the last few months he spent more time in the hospital than he did at home. 😦 He fought a long, hard battle with cancer and he passed away November 1, 2019. We tried to spend as much time as we could with him and so other things had to be set aside. It’s taken some time to process losing him and there are so many little things that remind us of him…which is a good thing, but also makes the tears flow again. It’s been difficult to step back into life again because it will not be the same without him. We are trying to move forward now while keeping our memories of him close in our hearts.
