Taste Testing Tuesday #35 Easter Eggs

Welcome to another Taste Testing Tuesday! It’s all fun and games…

Until you open the refrigerator and you still see ALL those Easter eggs that haven’t been eaten yet!

What do you do with them?? Let’s try a taste test using your abundance of colored hard-boiled Easter eggs! Here’s a few suggestions you might try. We’re going to assume that you peel them first… 😉

#1.) Cut in half and sprinkled with salt. This is how my husband usually eats a hard-boiled egg.

#2.) Let’s jazz it up a bit by adding 2 chocolate chips for eyes, 2 Cheerios for a nose and bacon pieces for a mouth. Much more appetizing, don’t you think?

#3.) Cut in half with some mayonnaise spread on top and a sprinkle of parsley. (Or salt.) This is how I usually eat hard-boiled eggs.

#4.) Egg salad. There are many recipes for egg salad and every family seems to have their favorite way to fix it.

#5.) Deviled eggs. Again, there are many recipes for deviled eggs! This is probably our favorite way to eat hard-boiled eggs, but they do take a little bit more work.

#6.) Butterfly deviled eggs. Just another fun way to present them! 😉

#7.) Chopped up hard-boiled eggs. Now they are ready to be added to a salad.

A few more suggestions to use the chopped up eggs could be potato salad, chicken salad, tuna salad or macaroni salad. I hope by doing this taste test, your leftover Easter eggs will now only have this left over…

Haha! The colored shells look pretty, don’t they? 😉 What is your favorite way to eat Easter eggs? Good luck using up those eggs! 🙂
